Post Brake caliper....?
Has anyone got any idea what this brake caliper comes from? It’s fitted to Mini front hubs which are fitted to the rear with a handbrake - same as a Coupe. I’ve searched for some time but can’t work it out!

Looks very similar to some Nissan calipers i bought, but ended up fitting Toyota 1.6 Corolla fwd calipers back and front with hydraulic hand brake
I can take a picture of the calipers at weekend for you to compare.

Thank you John. I’d assumed they were Austin/Rover (possibly 200) as fitted to my old Libra, but been through all i can find online & can’t match them!

They’re fitted to an NCF Blitz, if that gives any more clues!

Think I’ve sussed it - with Ken’s help.
Found on muddybuggies that others have used golf gti or sierra cosworth. Think I’ve got sierra cosworth ones. :D
Cheers guys

I think there was a number stamped on them, but they’re in rather rough condition & I couldn’t read it.
I’ve given them a good clean up & painted them. Ordered a set of Sierra cosworth pads so will find out for definite when i get them.

What mods are needed to fit them?

I fitted Metro "Turbo" flanges to give space.
Drill the mounting hold on the hubs to M10, I moved mine in a little for more pad contact.
Fit a small spacer to centre the carrier on the disk.

They are fitted upside down to bleed them with a block of wood between the piston while the right way up.

I'm half way through a "How to" as photobucket broke my last one
