 Re: Cox GTM ('67-'68)
Hi everybody!
Unfortunatly it looks like for registration the authorities will need the build manual to compare the car to this. Does any of You have a Cox GTM or early Heerey GTM build manual?

 Re: Cox GTM ('67-'68)
Does any of You know who owns the rights of the Coupe nowdays? I may need a direct aprovement that my car is an original Cox GTM as the registry does not know this brand .

 Re: Cox GTM ('67-'68)
Pretty sure this has come up in discussion before on the forum.. the gist of it being that so far as Westfield were concerned, the rights to the Cox silhouette were passed on to Primo on purchase of the Coupe model etc. I may be wrong of course... doesn't bode well for getting the approval that you need...

 Re: Cox GTM ('67-'68)
Today I have started the engne of the Cox (the ill engine is for my other project, a Wolseley Hornet). This engine is running without a puff of smoke. Although the idle is a b-i-t lumpy with the lightened flywheel and the kent 276 cam, it is quite responsive and sounds like a REAL sportscar .

Is it a normal 276 or a Scatter cam 276, they sound really menacing Neil

 Re: Cox GTM ('67-'68)
Normal kent276. Runs ok. Pulls strong from 2000 without problem (just a BIT of smoke, nothing else ).
