Post GTM seperate instruments
Does anyone know what I need to do to get my rev counter and speedo on my GTM Libra working using the sensor on the PG1 gearbox for speed sensor and ECU output for rev counter.
I think I have heard you need to put a resistor in somewhere.

Also when I run my engine 1.8vvc was 1.4mpi I have to put the handbrake on to be able to stop the engine I believe this is a common problem how do I fix it.

Thanks Matty

Hi Matty,
I didn't have to do either but here is a link to Paul Drawmers excellent website & it looks like he had the same issues-

http://www.drawmer.net/libra/intro.htm

go to the dashboard section.

I understand its a 1k resistor in between the 12v & signal feeds, I'm sure I read it was only if the Rev counter was ECU fed? As your speedo isn't working as well I'd look at other options first?

The diode is a 1n4001 on the ignition warning light.

Thanks Juls will get myself a resistor and diode and give it a go.

Hopefully it will not be long before the car hits the road again.
