Hi , i mentioned that my old racer has coil overs fitted which go to the bottom arm , some of the tower is cut back to allow for rising rate , here is a pic, not really sure about whether it will affect the bottom ball joint as someone said in projects? I do know it has been like this for a very long time !

those are motor bike shocks as they have progressive springs

yes they look like bike shocks , i never got to see how good/bad this arrangement was as the car had suffered such corrosion in the body it was undriveable, but i thought the car looked like it had been sorted very well with most things being uprated , it has been said that the ball joints suffer but my knowledge here is limited , i have however wondered what if a bracket was made that went between the ball joints with a coil over mounting in the middle where the old drivshaft would of been , as the cv is machined down and is not in the way ? just thinking ......

Thats a big spacer on the front 1"?? was that for clearence or wrong offset rims?

Hi , all i know is this was a wide gtm , a heerey i think , i think the arches stood 5" from the body , even the headlights were fitted slightly further forward , i really must fund some pics .....

have a look at my coupe spaceframe in the forsale its a wide 1 off with coilovers also if you need wishbones made i do it for a job thanks wullie
