Hi,
My name is Davey, i have recently acquired a GTM Rossa. As this is one of my first projects, i was wondering if anyone had any good advice as i am quite inexperienced with this type of car, i have some previous experience with other cars but nothing of this sort. The car is in need of some tlc, nothing major but the need doing never the less as i am going to try and get it to look and run like a nice little car! The first job is to find some seals to go around the door and roof as they are leaking badly but as long as there is a bit of good old tarp over the top seems fine! haha below i will list the parts needed, if you have any for sale please contact me, or even if you just have a bit of advice i would be very great-full,

Hi Davey.
3 Things:

1. It seems leaking rainwater is what Rossas do best. If you can cure it, you will be a star. The best seal system I have come across for a surroundless door window was on a Honda Prelude. Maybe you could start there?

2. Further problems/questions you need to be specific.

hi davey, where in the country are you from. im in the process of restoring a rossa mk2 at the mo.

thanks for the advice, will definitely try it! i am currently living in Carmarthenshire, Wales. As i have only recently had the car i have not really had time to find all the problems with it but as it is an older car i would imagine that there will be some minor things. i have however found 3 big holes in the dash were the speakers and sound system was, ( didn't really take much finding! ) was wondering if any one had a half tidy one knocking about in stores or something that i could buy. As for pics i will be posting them soon (latest the weekend) but don't hold out for a show stopping car because, let me assure you it really is not! haha. once again thanks for the advice, really greatfull aswel as needed!

Hope you start a project page as i'd love to see how it comes on.

It did have a rubber seal on the hard top when i sold it, although it wasn't 100% watertight it kept the majority out.

It did have a dam good Blaupunkt stereo and Pioneer kevlar speakers in it which sounded great

Thanks tom, just had a look at the links you posted an i have to say, was gobsmacked! haha my intention is to get it back to the same level of profesionalism you had previousley achived, but i doubt that is going to happen tbh. i will be posting a project post up soon but for now i will stick to this thanks again pal!

I have a dash that's surplus to requirements.

It's in good presentable condition (no glovebox lid).

Your's for not a lot - could get it to Exeter kit car show for collection.

Thanks allen but im just looking for a tidy sound system to put back in tbh, i just got speakers and i think i have all the other equiptment,
just a quick question for tom tho, did the guage for the battery (charge) work on it because it isn't anymore!

From what i remember i believe it did, it would have bugged the Toffee out of me if it didn't and i would have hat to fix it.

Thanks mate its not working now but i am on the path to fixing it no worries i have discovered there are no cables connecting to the back apart from the light bulb!
it will be put on the road in april / may coming, hopefully! haha
