Whats the traditional way

The "traditional" way would be to give the hub to a real engineer and tell him what you wanted back............

And that's what would come back!!!!!

I'm not sure how to take that.

Loads of very clever solutions were one off's with no documentation to support them that survived - hence my question - a really good bit of engineering.

In case anybody is not familiar with the locking system kit available from Rossabitz,
I have attempted to attach a drawing. The kit is bolt-on without the need to
modify any parts. It is only suitable for use with 13" wheels.

A new top arm replaces the Mini steering arm with locating bushes and spacers
to the top of the hub.
The outer rose joint is aligned with the hub top ball joint and the inner rose
joint is mounted on an extension screwed to the end of the Mini top arm pivot shaft.
A reinforcing bracket links back to the sub frame at the point where the GTM triangular
plate used to attach.
The rose joints (1/2UNF LH & RH which aren't included in kit) can be female if using the standard GTM
track rod as shown, or male if using a tie bar available from Mcgill.
Holes are provided in the top arm to accept a handbrake caliper kit and if using drum
brakes the hand brake cable can be fitted to a front lug.
