Spyder 015 has changed hands. Its now mine ! It is still M115 TAB, still a 1.6 (may go 1.8VVC one day but we'll see...) but is now based in Bristol (I'm also a Dave)

Hi Dave,

I've just been looking through all the paperwork that came with my Spyder and trying to research its history. The original owner/builder and first two registered keepers appear to be have been a father and daughter with the surname Kaese and at some time during the cars life it carried the personal number plate K4 ESE. Therefore the car you list at the bottom of your list with that reg isn't a different car, it is the same car but with a different number plate attached - i.e. Spyder 15!

Good bit of detective work, thanks for the info. I have updated the list and started to show previous registrations in (brackets).


Are there any other owners out there who's Spyder has been re registered and would like to detail the previous plate??

Hi,

Spyder no 003 is now on Norwegian plates ZZ 19437.
First and probarbly only GTM ever to be registered in Norway.

P9GTM is listed here as damaged but has apparently been repaired as is currently on ebay (and in the for sale section on here) noted as a former cat C. Perhaps the current owner could pass on the serial number so it can be added to the list.

I almost bought 033 for parts today at a auction its number plate was bv55 tpy and now is am55 gtm it is damaged and recorded as a cat C looks really good in the pictures but when I looked at the car the tub had a crack running all the way through the seals and on the floor I hope the guy that bought it went to had a look at it. It would be a very harsh surprise. the car was a nice spec anti roll bars bigbrakes roll bar still looks to be a 1.4k

This reminds me, P9GTM was at the Castle Combe action day in June. He is based in Bristol and is a member of the Bristol Kit Car Club. I've not seen him at any BKCC club meets since but I think he's due to be coming to our track day at Combe on Monday. I'll try to find out his serial number.
