Rack removal
Is there a sneaky way to get the rack out or do I cut away glass to allow space
Thanks
Pete

Re: Rack removal
Found the answer on the site - cut out or take front off car - angle grinder time Has anyone shortened the steering arms to speed up turn and get a bit smaller turning circle?

Re: Rack removal
What are the track rod ends from? They are longer than on the MGF rack

Re: Rack removal
I know the FAI part number is SS361.
Not sure of the rover part number but a google of the FAI should through up some equivalents. The FAI are a good quality part though.

Re: Rack removal
Are those dims as the photo you posted, i.e. with the rack extender included. That length of hex is (I believe) part of the kit and fills the gap between the male rack thread and the female TRE thread to account for the wider track on the GTM. You can unscrew that from the old TRE and re-use it. Forgive me if I'm stating the obvious and you've tried that

Re: Rack removal
Yeah the hex-bodied adaptor is a GTM part.
