Post No lights Libra
Before searching everywhere on the Libra I have an electrical fault on the lights. Yesterday, happily driving along country roads from Berwick, swopping from main beam to dipped frequently, the lights for some reason just stopped working! Thankfully near-ish to home so got here with a little help.
I have indicators, reversing lights and brake lights - so have lost side, dipped and main beam and on the rear tail lights and number plate light
All fuses checked and OK
All wiring showing no damage - so presume OK
Any ideas of where to check next...... possibly relays or light switch on column?

Hmmm, the various lighting circuits are on different fuses so for everything to have failed must be something that is common to all the lighting so I think you are correct in thinking about the stalk switch or possibly the relays. IIRC the lighting relays are the ones at either end of the row of relays on the main fuse board under the right hand side of the dash, one deals with lights generally and the other does the dip/main switching. As they are easier to replace than the stalk switch I'd try those first. They are different pin layouts from each other and from all the other relays so you can't just swap with another.

I had this problem last year, it was a broken wire going to the left stalk.

I think I have a MGTF fuse box over in MiL's garage. Haven't clue if they are interchangeable but MGF/TF used a lot of bits from the Metro parts bins so there is a chance. Next time I'm over there I'll take a look.
