Yeah , there's a few spots of rust in the corners of the sills and i really don't want to weld them up upside down, I'm also bead blasting the body and will reunderseal the base when finished. I made it so a couple of wheels are able to be placed on the back tressel and it can be wheeled outside.

I wish my chassis was as sound as that
I need to take the body off to tackle all the rust on mine and I will have to replace some of the rear spaceframe.
Driver's sill is totally shot and the pans are in a bad way.

Yeah I was really surprised at how well the shell was intact, especially when it was left for 6 years outside uncovered (pre my ownership). I had previously stripped all the frame down to check and then just repainted with red oxide to prevent further spread. By turning it upside down made it a hell of a lot easier to cut and weld. I did find that because the shells were only seam sealed and dash welded in spots that under these lap joints were very rusty and not spotted until digging deaper. All my new panels have been seam welded so no more possibilty of water penetrating. I have also Waxoiled the inners panels and then used a Waxoil impregnated underseal for the base. I have also spent hours filling in all the holes that others have made over the years.

Pics of removal of bumper strip on front nose, used expanding foam as a base and then layers of fibreglass to strengthen, just needs a sanddown a slight filler to finish

Just looking at the steel chassis on your Coupe.
What is the box section in front of the driver? providing its RHD.
Mine is just flat steel there.

Good spotting, its my new pedal box setup, I wasn't happy with the standard setup as it only uses a single mastercylinder for both front and rear, I'm from a racing background and for safety I wanted a tandem system plus the ability to adjust bias from front to rear. To get the pedal box in (Optimum Brake Products - mini pedal box) required a bulkhead lift of about 2", it allows a full 6:1 ratio pedal, adjustable bias and a neat tidy unit.

I can give you details if you want.
