If I bother camming it I will be going with soilid cams and ditching the vvc. Newman do some fast road cams that will work with the std lifters and management system. I dont want the engine to loose its tractability though but I guess it should be okay in a light car such as the Libra.

Reason I'm doing the head gasket etc is because it isnt overly expensive as ill do it myself, will give me piece of mind and i can have a good look at the liners and check the head face before its fitted into the car.
