Tim, The first instance I heard that a Coupe was entered into a modified production sports car class (was a long time ago), and it was questioned by other competitors if it was a production car or not  . Some how the Coupe owner produced evidence to show that 700 and something Coupe's had been built?????
(I don't know how??? Sssshh? as this mabe benificial for others  ) and the organisers let him run in that class. 8) 8)

This Wiscombe story is just another instance that I heard of from a hillclimber I work with. The guys name is
(Johnathon weedon) he has also seen the Coupe's run in modified production sports car class. (wiscome park does tend to be very "leanent" thow).??

Not that car :D (is that a Clan?) anyway this car had a bike engine in the rear (I've been told a Blackbird 1000cc) thats why I thought it was yours  Sorry  .

Been told that its in this class (even though it's not a car engine because it been put up a cc class as its bike powered?) If this makes any sense to anyone on here :?:  (I'm ignorant about this system)

Post Re: Dermot's hillclimb R1 coupe
That is an original Clan Crusader, although has now been sympatheticly modfied to run a Suzuki GSXR 1000 in place of the original imp with minimal alteration.

The results you have posted clearly show the GTM has a 1293 engine, most likely that as a A series 1275 with a standard +30 rebore!

The times set by it also confirm the suspicion.
