I have broken a heater cable on my GTM Libra.The controls are mounted in the normal place down to the right of the steering wheel.In the manual I have it says to use the standard metro ones.I have been to scapyard and wrecked the inside of it to get the heater cables out but they are way too short,the car was a Rover 100 is this the problem or are they not from a metro.

Hi Matty,
They are provided in the Kit so it will be GTM. On the supplier list provided with my kit it says the supplier was VEHVAC ref 340.10.110.

My cables were taken from a Metro GTI.

Heater cables use an outer sheath available in any length at at most good cycle shops. The inner "wire" is not a cable but a single wire, this is usually piano wire available from most model shops in 1 metre lengths (enough for a Libra), used for servos & point motors which require a push pull action, as on the GTM Libra.
