Is that a 'spool' type drive box or is it their LSD type drive box?

Is that a drive adaptor that means you have no chains? looks tidy did you get a choice of colours if so did you go for blue 8)

It connects the drive sprocket on the r1 gearbox and uses no chains. And yes it comes in a variety of colours at extra cost. I could either get it in blue or get it silver with a selection of different ratios.
Mines silver. :)

Looks very interesting.

May I ask a couple of questions?

How strong is it?

Is it noisy?

Does it have a diff? I see they are developing an LSD.

Does it make the car rear engined with the box against the bulkhead, or can it be fitted to the rear?

Thanks

I would say if it's able to cope with the R1 engine its going to be strong, a standard R1 engine is in excess of 180 bhp, I would say thats going to be some savage yoke to go,

Got the sprocket needed to connect the drivebox to the engine.
14 tooth instead of 16.

Little more work done. Removed old subframe and started lining engine and drivebox up for measurements to fabricate new subframe. Starting to look more rear engined than mid-engined.

Any chance of an update Dermow :?: Haven't heard form you for a bit  :D

I think Neil, (and I, for that matter) would like to know what your thinking is, on what 1/4 mile times your expecting :?:

We've seen some Z-cars run up the strip, only to be dissapointed  and the owners bemused at the results.

Complete U turn folks. Not happy with the engine hanging out the back so far, so i am forced to sell the drivebox and buy the Promotive kit. Will be refitting a 1275 engine just to get some use out of her while saving up for the kit. V-expensive.

If anyone is selling a cheap 1275 engine let me know. Thanks.
