Post Bit of help please!
Few problems I still have..

1. Lights, could someone please tell me what each light should do and what bulbs they should have? I suspect I have some incorrect bulbs and am not sure which front my loom was ordered for, it is a brand new loom but was ordered before I bought the car. One thing I can't understand is I have got H4 bulbs as supplied by GTM, these have 3 terminals... however my loom has only 2 terminals for each lamp. My front is a Libra (proper) one

2. Something is draining my battery, from fully charged in 3 days of no use with it being in the workshop it will be good as dead. Will crank but not enough to fire. Whats the best place to start? Could it be the immobiliser?

3. Never really got to the bottom of the oil pressure sender... is it just one wire through the tunnel from the sender to the gauge??

4. Errrrrr, anyone ever sort out any kind of modification to the fuel filler? I've only filled it once and it was a nightmare.

I'm sure there was something else I can't remember, I'll be back!

Cheers

The two terminals have a single filament and the three are twin filament (Common ground and supply for each of the lights)

I'd check this out with a multimeter and see what current is getting pulled through each of the fuses, by pulling them out one at a time. Can be the alarm, but normally when there is a fault. I'd guess that something that should be switched with the ignition isn't.

There is only one wire that is goes to the oil pressure sensor, as it will be using the ground (0 volt) connection of the engine. As the Libra is a fully GRP car, it needs to have a good set of ground points.

Yep, filling is, so I've heard, a nightmare. Find a petrol station that is on a lope!

1, My car
Top headlamps are H4's [3 terminal's]
Nearside 2 black, blue/pink, blue/grey and green/grey
Offside 2 black, blue/black, turquoise/green and light/green

Bottom spots are H1's [2 terminal's]
Nearside black, green/grey
Offside black, light green/green.

2, see Tim's answer.
3, see Tim's answer.

4, This is down to the builder, when I built mine I try'd to ensure it had a fall.
The only time I have trouble is when the ground is sloping towards the pump, so you have to think when you go into a garage 'Which Pump Shall I Use' :? .
I also put the nozzle in and turn the trigger to the left so it rests on the body [about 8 o'clock, sometime's 9 o'clock].
You could carry a lump of 4 x 2 with you, pull up near the pump, place the timber, move foward onto the timber, fill up  [don't forget to pick it up]

Apparently I have the GTO style front loom but it can be made to work..... we'll see how that goes!

As for the drain on the battery I've got the wrong relay pack on apparently but who knows if that is the actual fault ..... we'll see on that too!

I changed my engine in Libra from 1.4MPI to 1.8vvc 143BHP also had a battery drain very similiar to as you described, I had the wrong engine relay module, replaced with the one from correct engine and no drain now strange but it does make a difference.
