Bit of a thread resurrection but... Andy have you got any dimensions for the pedal mount you made? I'm fairly certain I've just picked up the same setup for a bit of a steal. Is the oblong section 2"x1" and from what I can tell the horizontals that the pedal box fastens to are about 1/3rd from the top? also the internal width of the box frame and any idea as to where it goes side-to-side in the car. I know I'll end up with the good old "where it fits" in the end but if I've got a starting point....

And the rear lights. I'm fairly certain I've seen the same ones on fleabay for £20 plus postage. Is the area around the lights a reflector? they are from a Bulgarian seller and I don't think I would get an intelligent answer if I asked them (the English in the advert is a bit iffy and contradictory) Hopefully someone who has them in the flesh can give me a real answer.

Now you really are testing my brains for memory, the pedal box is 50mm x 25mm box that I lightened by turning it into a channel section (inside side of course), if I remember correctly the the pedal box and pedal configuration is exactly the same as a mini pedal box so I just worked out the offsets from this based upon the standard master cylinder positions on the coupe, i.e. clutch pedal same as original coupe position, brake pedal same as original coupe position. I then allowed an extra bit of clearence for the box frame and went from there, I made up the 3 sided frame on the bench to make sure it was square and level and then welded this in place on the coupe, I then cut out the centre and seam welded the inside edge,I then welded 2 flat bars to support the pedal box (50mm x 3mm), a bit of an overkill but it allowed me to move the box forward/backward to get the pedal adjustment right, if I remember correctly I ended up spacing down the pedal box from the mounts (10mm) to allow fitment of the banjo joints and inlet hoses, the cover I made out of 2mm sheet, I used countersunk rivnuts in the channel to allow for flush fitment. If it is the same unit its a great piece of kit, allows progressive adjustment of the brakes (bias bar) and the best felt mini brakes I've ever come across.

Yes those are the lights, yes the unit has a reflector all around it, I have one of the reverse lights fitted with a 21w Red bulb (fog light), really well made, I had to make a bracket up on the rear to allow flush fitment as they were originally designed to be bolted directly to a light bar.

Thanks for that - I was planning the same thing with the red bulb to make a reversing light into a fog.

At least mine isn't red so we won't look too much like twins if we run into each other somewhere.
