Post Seat harnesses
Has anyone changed the inertia reels to harnesses? I want to change term as the inertial don't go well with the cobra seats I have fitted. Bottom mounts are ok it is the top mounted that look harder as to get the angle right there will need to be a bar inserted. However Would still like to to put the roof down into the shelf as I do currently .

Bertram did it in a typically neat way. http://www.gtmlibra.nl/

I'm not sure he was able to get the roof behind the seats though.

I guess if you used the clip type you could unclip them and retain the 3 point for those days?

Thanks for that and it looks easier in the Libra than the Spyder. At least he had the rear wall to fix to. I fear a new cross bar will have yo be fitted to get the correct angled for the top fixing.

Sorry I didn't realise you have a Spyder
If I remember correctly he fitted a bar between the seat belt mounts then fitted the bulkhead trim over it with holes for the eyes. It wasn't fixed to the bulkhead.

Ian Copass fitted a roll bar to his Spyder. Perhaps if you did that you could fix the harness to that?
