With Stoneleigh coming up I decided to attempt a quick tidy and smarten up by fitting some new chrome wheel nuts and shiny alloy centre hubs to each wheel. Having acquired replacements from KN Wheels I was merrily beavering away swapping old nuts for new when after a while it was quite apparent that some seemed to feel decidedly unhappy to accept the normal torque. Haveing stripped a couple, I decided to take them all off again and put back to old rusty ones just to be on the safe side. KN Wheels said Oh! Im glad you've rung us we had a faulty batch and have been trying to contact each customer. We'll send you some replacements. So if anyone has recieved wheel nuts recently from KN Wheels just make sure that they are from a good batch and that they will take the torque confidently.
