Ref my post back in August, Thanks each for your input so far but I am still undecided as to whether to remove the engine from below or lift out from the top, as a result I have not yet made any progress. Thanks to John Dicken for his photo illustration of how he did his but the reality is that it doesn't compare like with like. I would like to know if anyone out there has removed the cross member/ battery support framework similar to mine as shown in the attached photo in such a way that it allows its removal and replacement in a sound and sensible way.
