Post Rear Wheel Cylinders
Anyone know what size bore the rear wheel cylinders should be. I am replacing the old ones and they are stamped with LUCAS 1004, but can't find what size that is as that part number does not show up on any of the Mini parts sites. I have Mini 8.4 discs up front, and the modified for parking brake, drum setup in the rear. Thanks ..

I would highly recomend MGBV8 slaves cylinders 22.2 mm from memory gives a good bias shift rearwards, otherwise you will be locking fronts all the time

I went back to Mini cylinders as the capacity of the master cylinder was insufficient and pedal travel was too great.

I pulled one out and measured and it's 19mm or 3/4 inch bore, so I'll stick with that for now as the brakes seems balanced with that size... was trying to order the bits before tearing it out.. but now at least I can get the right part.. thanks
