Hi all I sold Q948AVO a yellow GTM coupe some time ago and believed it went down south, I'm based in Manchester. Does anyone know of its current whereabouts as I would love to see if it was ever finished. Cheers Dermot. |

A quick vehicle check shows the last MOT on it expired September 2009 |

I've seen it for sale a few months ago! What are the odds. Seen it for sale in the south of the Netherlands. Believe it now sold and went to Belgium (https://copysta.com/profile/karltoros/3492902777/). It stood still for almost a decade I believe. Unfortunately it has a Q-plate, which appear to be hard to register correctly so let it pass  .

Wow. Thanks for the information. Looks like it's either had an engine change or the 1380 engine that was with it has been rebuilt and painted. It is also missing a 40 dcoe weber carb that was on it when I sold it. Great in for thanks again. |

The seller told me there was a 1380 in it. Did you paint it yellow, was previously red right? I didn't hear it running, it stood there for almost 10 years he said. |

Hi Yes it appears the car was originally red but I didn't paint it, I bought it already painted yellow. I did a deal with the previous owner and yes sold it with a 1380 engine running on a single weber dcoe carb. I have managed to contact the current owner and the car is now in Antwerp. The car is running and is going to be taken off the road and restored next year. Thanks again for your assistance. |

Hi, The guys in Antwerp took out the engine and put the GTM up for sale without an engine. Although everyone said you shouldn't buy a Q registration, I bought it June 16th 2017 and stored it. I figured out, that after Brexit, it could become difficult to get a Dutch registration, so december 2020 an 1275cc engine from an old Mini of mine was put in en I went to the RDW for a registration. There where some smal problems, but it was an easy fix. Today I finished the registration in the Netherlands! It's not roadlegal yet because it hasn't got an APK (Dutch MOT). Now the engine is getting an overhaul and I will be looking for time to get it on the road again. Greetings, Remco |
