Post body to floorpan
hi all,
i have been lucky enough to buy a 1984 gtm coupe,but i dont know much about these cars
can someone tell me how the body attaches to the floorpan/subframe
i know there are screw holes but does it have to be bonded aswell and if it does,,,,how do you do it

Welcome!
We'll there is no easy answer, most will bolt and bond to the tub in the area behind the doors. I personally plan to bolt it down and use Tiger seal or similar to bond, that way you seal out the moisture. But I'm sure others will have different suggestions.

Don't try to bond with GRP and resin. It doesn't stick permanently.

Use a polyurethane adhesive. As mentioned Tiger Seal is good as is Sikaflex.

If you want belt and braces then one of the structural adhesives is ideal.

Araldite 2015 is for GRP and dissimilar substrates and has a long open time. I used it to bond my all GRP chassis together.
