My memory is going, and the build manual isn't helping.

But where did the rubber pipe at the front lower (Allegro) radiator come from.

I remember its cut down from one on a mini, but which one.

To answer my own question, I found info on the pipe.

Its a RH872, top hose from a Vauxhall Victor !

1 1/4" to 1"

120 degree bend

4" leg to radiator, 3 " to pipe.

Slightly off topic, but I remember reading on your website about fitting a Ford Ka heater valve to the heater - does that act as a bypass, as it is something I want to do to my Rossa, as the heater.matrix is always on but don’t have a bypass within the system?

Ta in advance

Yes the Ka part is a bypass when "Closed"
Its "H" shaped as you see below and the flow is diverted when the valve works.

Make sure you get one from a later car, as the early ones sometimes stick.

It's also the same/similar unit that is fitted to the Fiesta, bizarrely an elderly neighbour stopped me a few days ago saying he'd seen water under the car, when I looked for him on of those pipes had snapped, I just joined the 2 rubber pipes together with a bit of copper pipe to get him to the garage. It's quite strange, he won't let anybody but his favourite Ford garage to work on his car, I offered to change the unit for him but he wasn't having it, had to go to Ford, it's 1998 1.1L or something like that with only 23K on the clock, condition is almost like it came out of the shop.
