Post Butt lift
Following the theme that the earlier version of the cox body was prettier than the Heerey ones, now modifying the rear end to have the flat panel, round fiat lights and slightly raised number plate, rather than those oblong lights which are ugly and more suited to a farm trailer.

This car has been previously rebuilt 3 times, and perhaps ironic that now going back to original configuration

Your work looks great, the black bottom suits it, just like the girls around here
Your 998 single carb, drum brakes is exactly as my old Cox was when I got it, it did not stay like that for long, ended up all Cooper S brakes and a bored out 1275 S engine on an S gearbox, No big bore specialist piston back then, used triumph 2.5PI pistons giving 1425cc, I was told the head gasket was the weak point, so always carried a spared gasket and a torque wrench with me for the next 10 years, but never had a failure.
