Post Weber Inlet Manifolds
Weber inlets are often advertised as being for a 40/45 dcoe but how can this be the case? Surely the different sizes need different manifolds, no?

While I'm on here I don't suppose anybody has a 5" or 6" inlet for a 40 for sale? :) I don't mind anything that needs a good tidying and a lick of paint as long as it's sound. Oh, and I could do with a couple of 2" bolt on trumpets as well :D

I'm guessing they just have a 45mm bore at the carb end and you live with the mismatch when you fit the smaller bore carb.

That's what I thoughtIt must be but it seems a bit daft deliberately fitting a mismatch like that  It must play havoc with the airflow!
