My GTM
Made a silly mistake on my libra Friday night playing with the programming of the ecu to try and get a tablet to work with an androids app from the ecu. I made an alteration and accidentally, very stupidly saved the changes and deleted the engine map Car now runs like poo and have lost the info. I have emailed the tuning company to see if they have saved it up there but there is a chance I will have to get it mapped again at a cost of about £4/500, really upset with myself especially when it was perfect. Good news though the car does look finished, lol. Couple of questions :- 1) Are protech front shocks meant be upside down as they don't appear to want to fit the right way up 2) my speedo just bounces around the gauge but was working until I went over 150mph last week (gauge limit) how can I test if it is faulty? 3) how do I put finished build photos on here?

Re: My GTM
That's it there isn't an android app for the kpro, just tried a Bluetooth device on the OBD2 I installed but could get it recognised on the tablet. It did say it was transmitting but the tablet wasn't picking it up. I used a torque app, give it a whirl and see how you get on as I have failed at the moment but will try again once I have secured my old mapping session again.

Will try to go to the next kit car show, I think the last one is Exeter? Would have been to the one this week if I controlled my fingers on the keyboard

Re: My GTM

Ah that makes more sense, as I have not seen any mention of apps on Hondata's forum but have come across the OBD2 stuff, Unfortantly for myself Im OBD1 so no use to me. be interesting to se ehow you get on with it tho. Re: My GTM
Had some good news this morning, talked to protech direct and they say the shocks are absolutely fine upside down. They have made adjustment there end about a month or two ago they made the top fixing post a little little longer so there will be no more clearance issue ever again. Also received an email from the tuner for my car at TDI north in Warrington with a copy of my tuned MAP, thank god Hopefully if all goes to plan will download it later on this afternoon and will be back to normal.

Re: My GTM
Save a couple of copies incase your computer goes belly up, I have emailed mine to myself and have a copy on my phone.
that way it is always available if my computer throws a wobbly, been caught out before.

Re: My GTM
Done, lol. I have figured out the Speedo problem over the weekend which was a bolt come loose which was an inlet manfold earth to the ECU and strangely this also enhanced the cars performance further I have though cracked the oil cooler for the rotrex supercharger install somehow (as oil is dripping out but cant find a hole but the air line dosnt lie when pressurised) and so have ordered another 10row but slightly heavier duty if it helps. Should be done this weekend if it all turns up. Please no more teething problems let me drive it before the winter, lol.
