I've had the radiator I am going to fit to the Coupe for a while now, but I'm still yet to find out what which car it came from, or what type of thermostat was fitted. I've taken a few photos. If anyone can shed any light on it, then please let me know.

im reckoning the code on the side is the plastic type, and percentage of fibres, and not the part number, im hoping im wrong but looks familiar and when typed into google i get plastics.

Neil, I sussed out that the number was the plastic that was used, the photos were more of the thermostat hole, rather than the numbers.

I've added some more pictures of the serial number and a full frontal for Tim.

I've also throw a rear shot :P

Ordered one though flea bay this morning.

At least from the figures for the montego, I know that the radiator is good for 150bhp, if it was fitted to the 2.0l turbo engine.

Should be perfect for my little 1.3T!!!!

Not a bad radiator for £15 was it. :D

If anyones looking for a good radiator to use, I've used a Golf GTi radiator on mine, you have to play with the pipes a bit but it fits neatly under the bonnet, and should be plently to keep it cold. I'm actually finding it hard to get mine to get over 170 deg F not bad seeing its a 1430 monster.
