A question for the Libra Boys/Girls Cable change.
In the process of converting my car to Cable change.
Do any of you know the length of MGF cables? as wondering if these are going to be viable mainly for pre fitting/testing before considering custom cables.
Cheers West

One cable is 167cm long and the other 217cm. They wern't on the box at the time so i'm not sure which way they go round but hopefully this should give you an idea.

My mk1 MR2 ones are approx equal length and (Very approximate guess) 1200mm - maybe even shorter. Might be worth a look?

I used an Elise cable change on mine. It is much better shift than the MGF and the mechanism is much more compact.
Don't know how long the cables were though as I had new ones made 100mm longer.

I think the later MGF (02 ish on) cables are both the same length within a little as both cables go under the box whereas on the earlier setup one cable goes over the box and one under it. I have a mk1 MR2 complete setup here if it's any use but you may find the cables are too short. Golf cables are a little longer

Re: A question for the Libra Boys/Girls Cable change.
Thanks for the info guys, MGF ones are too long, well I could use the shorter of the two if needed. doing a setup sort of simular to a mgf, one cable underneath and one looping over the bell housing. Found today on a tinternet search at lunch, a company that does custom length cables for a sensible price, i.e a little over £40 for each cable, going to give them a call about the stainless marine versions they do as in just how much more is a lifetime one!
Already got a nice gear stick arrangement which I have started to modify, i.e cut off the extra bits, and its a nice Ford item that is almost finished just need to sort cables and then I can start to mount them to the gearbox. hoping to have this mod done by Avon seeing everything else is behind schedule.
