Just thought i'd register on the forum as i aquired a mk2 rossa in september but its been and is sitting in a friends garage till hopefully this week.
Basicly i bought a house this time last year in a new town, and spotted a very sad looking pile of plastic sitting in a garden about 1/2mile from my house. I knew what it was and kept thinking if i didn't knock on the door soon it would disapear.
I was at the time sticking a rover kseries in my mini so had no garage room, But thought bugger it.
Knocked on the door anyway just to find out if he would sell it. Asked the fella and he said his wife was in hospita and was comming out at the end of the week and it would be a nice suprise if the wreck that had been sat there for 10 years was gone :D So he said if it was gone by the end of the week i could just take it away :o So two days later i returned with a tow rope, spare wheels and a big hammer to free the brakes off. And this is what i returned home with.

The engine in it is a 1380med but not sure if it will be any good after sitting for ten years.

The plan is to get it up and running for imm2008 then prob sell/swap on return.

Welcome to the site.

:D

Looks like it is scrubbing up well. Try not to T Cut the body though, as it will soon strip the gel coat.

Keep us all posted.

look like Superlights made by performance wheels, due to the shape of the spokes and the polished rim. There are other minilight replicas that are simular but im sure its the performance ones with that profile spoke as I use to have a set.
