I bought this car found on Ebay last year. As ever it turned out to be a good deal more corroded than the pictures in the advert. It was on this forum at the time and there was some debate about being able to get a V5 document. Once I got the car home I found the chassis number plate in the same place as my previous Heerey GTM (PBF 804J) and sent off the fee and form to DVLA and now have a shiny V5 for LUU 6K. Does anyone Know if any of these models were fitted with front radiators. On this one even the pipes to the heater were outside the tunnel as the diaphragm that stiffens the change in size only has one hole in it.

Hi Derek You have a job on your hands, join the mad house Your tunnel look pretty much the same as others, that are open on the ends, so can't see why you should not make holes to pass water pipes etc. John |

Another shot of how rusty the car was. I was surprised to find that both subframes had rusted right through in places. Also a picture of the body with 6 coats of high build 2 pack primer applied, ready for rubbing down. The bonnet in the process of having the faded red removed. The car had been nicely built with Cooper S hubs both front and rear and Hardy Spicer drive shafts. I have bought two subframes found on Ebay, but one of them is a more modern single bolt type. Would anyone out there be prepared to swap this for a twin bolt type to keep the finished car "in period"?

At last managed to make a start on repairing the floor pan, well actually making a new one. Measuring and drawing the rusted remains seems to take forever. At least the aluminium chassis number plate will be original.

Concentrating -- if you can call it that right now -- on the 13" wheel car first as I have all the drawings -- progress is SLOW. I have a 10" Heerey car to follow the white car rebuild but won't start measuring up until I have the body off -- which is looking like next year at the current rate of progress! Steve |

Made a bit more progress on the front section. The original designer must have been a keen student of origami, the front wheel arches are folded out of one piece!
