Finally started back on the body work. Second layer of paint on the bonnet. Decided that due to not having much continuous time to spray it in the garage like the minis I built, I am using the roller method and light sanding between coats. Looking good so far with minimal amount of sanding needed and hardens up pretty quick and self levels really good. I will get pictures up when I can. The test pieces I did on a old bonnet earlier this year are very shiney and the paint is very hard to scratch/chip. I have a nice 998cc engine that I have fully rebuilt ready to go in and the front subframe is rebuilt and ready to go on. Just need to go to the motor factors and get the long rad hoses which they do in rubber or silicone. I made a speedo cable that in all cost about £15. I still need to decide on a pair of seats but am leaning towards mx5 ones. I bought a set of 5 metro turbo wheels to get refurbed and the exhaust to design and make.
