If you have made it wider, it will probably hit the splash gaurd on the inside of the front end Please check it when lowering the front end for the first time, get someone to help |

Always get a grown up to help!! Try putting some blue tack on the bits that might touch, if it is touching or is very close it will show on the blue tack when you reopen it. |

Sounds like good tips there guys, I was just trying for a few more CCA's on the battery as with the high compression motor it takes a lot out of the battery. I can always revert back to the other size battery if it does foul but it didn't seem too when I had it in a dummy position before. |

The local motor factors got in the wrong oil so I'll have to wait till Monday to start it, but in the mean time I have installed the dash, steering column, steering wheel and dummy fitted the seats so I could have a sit down. |

Well guys it's finished, finally got the bonnet fitted this weekend, you guys were right with the battery but with careful modification I got the bonnet to clear and shut happily. The car needs a good clean and a wipe over with wax, I have to tidy up the wheels but other than that I just have to wait for my insurance disc to turn up and then go for a drive. i've done a nut/bolt check and an alignment so I'm happy it will drive ok. Will need to tune the brakes and suspension (may need to go softer in front) but can't wait. Will post pics once clean. |

Is the paint radiant red? Looks like mine, hard to do the colour justice on pics |

Thanks for the comments, I will post a few more pics once I get her clean and out in the sun, I'm just giving the wheels a good clean. The paint is actually a Honda colour (Monza Red), unfortunatley it looks pink in the photos but its a propper red and definetly not pink. |
