Hand brake calipers have also arrived (mechanical spot) which bolt onto the main caliper, they bolt in where the spacer would go between the two halfs of caliper bodies, photo next week quite trick and very simple.

Sorry first two pics wrong way around, should be before and after not after and before.
As can been seen, caliper spacer comes out and the hand brake caliper bolts in, so no mtg onto the hub seperate

Big breakthrough with my gear change problems, found out the f17 gearbox fitted to the face lift Vectra has a cable change system, and the selector tower fits into my f13 gearbox. Sleepless nights and headaches have all but gone.

New ballsockets are on order to allow fitment of a MGF cable system ( two longer cables ) to the vauxhall selector tower, fingers and toes crossed but its looking good.

My tub was in a friends workshop having some rear end mods done and some preping for paint when 40 busses parked in the yard outside (right upto the rear wall of his workshop) and the bus workshop where set alight. The whole fleet of buses and the bus workshop where lost in the blaze, my friends worksop was used as a fire break by the fire department he also lost quite alot including 2 customer cars (mk 1 mexico just finished, lotus elan and his camper van). The dividing wall collapsed which landed on the Mexico missing my tub by inches. The tub as been sat in my garage looking sorry for its self with alot of surface rust after been soaked by the fire service to contain the blaze so other units could be saved. Since the I have had the tub grit blasted and powder coated (cant afford a wet spray) My mate (who had no insurence) is now working for the bus compay painting the new fleet, so no more cheap jobs for me. I will upload some pics of the tub sometime this week.

Yes, I have had the tub powder coated, not a brilliant job but good enough, front suspension, brakes, steering all built up and fitted, just about finished the gear change. I will try and take a few pics soon and post them on here, slow but steady, by the time its finished I'll be doing the London to Brighton haha.
