thanks, RaymondH I have seen that the windows do not open the same the n/s does not close right to the top and the o/s one does not go all the way down I think this will be the first thing I will have a look at there are some small things I would like to do and some that need to be done and one big thing is to put a 1.8 vvc engine in the car

I searched for black ones for ages and in the end I painted my beigey ones (yuk!) with Halfords bumper paint, using their preparation cleaner first. It was expensive but very successful and I've since painted other parts including a steering column surround so perhaps not so expensive after all because it made a big difference to the interior. |

My wife had a beigey metro and yes yuk. thanks, I would not have thought of painting it with bumper paint I had a look and yes it is expensive I have been on eBay and found one they won't 16 pounds for one. it would not be much more than painting it so I think I might get one from eBay |

Just make sure that it is black. I once bought one that looked black in the photo but when it arrived it wasn't.... |

hi, I have spent time on the car this weekend and fixed the windows. I had to adjust the stops for the motors to get the windows to stop at the top and bottom. I have also got a new black Door Interior Handle Surround

hi all I have not done much to my car I'm going to fit a start button which I got from eBay but I'm going to use an Arduino with a relay shield to control the starting of the engine no need for a key. the plain is to use the keyfob which will open the doors disarm the alarm and activate the button which will turn on the ignition then you push the button again to start the car. when the car is running you will use the button to stop the car. this way over the top just to start the car but its a project

Yes the sun is out! Good to hear your making some progress, I will have to believe you when you say that is the program. This is something I want to try and do in the future, play with an arduino but at the minute its a bit Greek to me Neil |

I was making a new part for the car and I moved the 5as car alarm. and 2 wires fell of the second plug well I say plug it did not have one. so spent hours looking at electrical diagrams to find out where they go. then I found the right plug on the web all I have to do is find the right pins and put it all back
