 K3 VIN number I am in the process of building an unfinished K3 kit based on a Metro 1.4 MPI.
I would like to be able to get some idea when the kit originally left the factory.
I have a GTM VIN plate stamped with the number:
SA9RK2200W7011118
Can anyone decipher this for me and give me some idea of it's age?

The next 6 are the model Sp2000 for spyder Lv3300 for libra So rk2200 a K3? The rest Is a unique identifier but I'm sure on the spyder & libra the last 3 is the chassis number. Cheers Juls

Re: K3 VIN number Thanks Juls. That helps to decipher the main part of the VIN. I just thought that the first parts of the number were made up of random numbers and letters.
So now I just need to sort out when chassis number 118 left the factory.
