Post Suspension geometry set up
Hi
I have just acquired F646 EVG and will be taking it to the Southampton Wheel alignment Centre in the next couple of weeks.

The problem I have is that although I have a copy of the build manual it doesn't have the diagram showing the appropriate settings!

I intend to use the car for Gurston Down Hillclimb, on the original suspension set -up as built.

Can anyone give me guidance on a good starting point for front and rear toe-in, castor, and camber please

As no K3 owners replying, maybe worth considering what Libra/Spyders are mostly set up with as there should be some similarities? My Spyder is using 0.5 degree toe in front and rear. Fronts vertical, rears 1.5 degree negative camber. Not sure on caster but somewhere between 3 and 5 degrees is normal.

Hi

That's great - perhaps I should have bought a Libra! :)

Many thanks

Post Re: Suspension geometry set up
I reset the wheel alignment on my K3 a couple of days ago. I set the front to 2mm toeing in and the rear to 2mm toe in per side. To set the rear wheel alignment I used a 3 metre length of wood that was as straight as I could find and supported it on two axle stands, one at each end of the car. The axle stands are adjusted so the wood batten sits at the centre of each wheel. Then adjust the steering wheel so both edges of the front tyre touch the wood batten and also the rear edge of the rear tyre. There should be a gap of approx 2 - 3mm between the front edge of the rear wheel and the wood batten. If not then loosen both locknuts on the adjuster and turn as required.

Yes - I have the written bit (I have the complete build manual) but like yours the "diagram" referred to is not there!

Perhaps someone within the Rossa K3 community has a better copy of the manual with the diagram included.

At least it is a starting point for toe-in settings

Many thanks for your time and trouble

Maybe there’s no diagram because the camber and caster can’t be altered?
