1989 GTM Coupe, built by us from new in 2004. This car has no V5 or identity, but has an MSA logbook for hillclimb and sprinting. Could easily make a circuit race car.
The car was hot dip galvanised from new, and is a coloured gelcoat finish as opposed to paint. It is in excellent condition, always garaged and used sparingly. (The pictures don't do it justice, it is a bit grubby and the weather was awful).
It has been converted to a stock D16A9, L3 tranny and stock ECU. It is complete, running and ready to compete. Also available is a chipped PP5 ECU, spare ex-CRX Challenge engine and box.
The GTM is rear engined and Mini-based, the Honda lump sits on a modified Mini subframe. The running gear is nearly all Mini, and the cage is an MSA approved unit built from T45 (lightweight) and certified by the manufacturer.
To answer some FAQ:
1. No - it will not be easy to SVA or get a V5, although it is certainly possible. The car has no headlights, handbrake, interior etc. A donor car could provide the identity.
2. I am 6'2" and over 15 stone and I can get in and out and compete in it.
3. It could be converted to B-series
