Post Wet and Windy Newark.
Saturday was mostly bloody awful. It rained all day. Hardly anyone came to the show and it was freezing.

Sunday was dry, sunnyish and blowing a gale. Battleship anchor chains were hanging horizontally and Alans marquee had been totally blown away.

The tenty bit was wrapped around a nearby fence and the poles were broken.

A lesser band of individuals would have given up but we just parked a couple of cars and pretended the tent was still there.

We even found the enthusiasm to line the cars up neatly in a 'Snooks Curve'.

One car went on strike and refused to line up.

The traditional GTM pastime. A broken car surrounded by random trousers.

Post Re: Wet and Windy Newark.
Hello everyone!

I went to Newark last weekend and can indeed confirm it was very nasty wet and windy on the saturday.
Very quiet, shame :(

However i did come and have a look at some Libras and a chat with a couple of nice chaps there...don't know if they come on here but I was the very tall chap who came and had a sit in someones car and then asked loads of questions! :D

Thanks for spending some time talking to me, I don't have a GTM of any description at the moment but I am really into the idea of having a libra or Spyder....
