The Bristol Kit Car Club has booked Castle Combe for a non-commercial track day on Monday 25th April. It is predominantly kit cars but there are a few saloon types belonging to friends of the organiser. There are a few places left in case anyone on here is interested. It has been decided that people would prefer to have more track time rather than less cost so it is being restricted to just 30 cars. As 20 can be on the track at any one time this pretty much means that there will be space on track whenever you want to go out. We did a similar event last August with 25 bookings and there was never more than 18 cars out so there wasn't ever a queue so with 30 it should still be pretty much queueless (as opposed to clueless!). The format is open pit lane other than a couple of sessions first thing to let newbies/anyone who wants to have some practice/sighting laps following a Combe instructor gradually building up to full speed. The day will be marshalled by the Combe staff. Price is £170 which is good value as you could get twice the track time compared to most commercial track days at Combe. Noise limit is 100dB and strictly enforced. (measured at 4500 rpm, 0.5m from exhaust outlet and by drive past).
