Attented Harewood Hillclimb last weekend on both days, situated not far from Leeds it is a great day out, Saturday was vintage racers including a 24 litre Napier Bentley (would'nt like his tyre bill) and Sunday was out and out hillclimb race cars and saloons including a rather strange looking Libra with a huge scoop over the roof, registration **** GAL, anybody know its history apparently its for sale, its in quite a sorry state I have to say.

I tried to be diplomatic but I agree haha. His old man had an Ultima and I always assumed he was trying to make it look like that.

Put it this way, I wouldn't pay him half what he wants for it.

Hi All,

I have just purchased this car J*** GAL and just starting to strip it to bring it back to a good standard, the car is basically sound and a little unique with the roof mounted scoop. With some much needed TLC should be back on the road shortly... this will be an on-going project

Good luck with it

Apologies for some of the comments above, hope you got it for a reasonable price with room to put any bits right

Yes got it at what I thought was a good price, the car is basically sound, just tired with nothing really spent on it for a few years... you sometimes have to look thro the cobwebs to see the clearer picture...

Absolutely, mine was knackered when I bought it. I guess he was just trying his luck early on.
