Woohoo!

The COX had just fired up in the garage. It's the first time this year I've had it running.

Oh how I've missed the sound, that's slowly making me go deaf.

After having the fuel system removed, refitted, aswell as the nitrous system refitted Im now really looking forward to going for a blast at the weekend. 8) 8)

MOT Booked for Saturday at 1pm, so hopefully it's not a long lists of fixes that's needed.

So I might make it along to visit.

Sorry guys, not going to be able to make this anymore. We've had an offer accepted and are buying our first house. So saving the pennies.

Shame as I wanted to meet you all and have a ride in some GTMs!

WOO HOO :!:

Loading the COX up for Blyton Park 8)

Looking forward to meeting up again with all those attending, and those of you I haven't met before.

If anyone is going today to pitch-up/camp remember you won't be allowed in the venue till 5:00pm as there is another track day being held today till 5:00pm.

I'll be there this afternoon, so come have a chat, I'm the wired looking one with the White Cox with blue and red stripes,
(The Big Blue Coupe isn't quite finished  ).

Just a quick reminder to make sure those of you who have track passes to print off the driver forms (The instructions have been sent to your e-mail address) follow the links from there and fill them in, and also DON'T FORGET YOUR LICENCE

The Drivers briefing will be at 8:30am, Sunday morning, and the track opens at 9:15 after the sighting laps, so you can familiarise yourselves which way the track goes.

For those who have had to withdraw, I hope to meet up with you on Monday at Stoneleigh 8)

Sticky tyres have been mounted to the rims this morning.

A bit of checking over this afternoon. will be coming up in the morning.

Also to note if your a driver or passenger you need to have your arms and legs covered when out on track.

There was a white libra there too, I went to go and find it and have a chat but they seemed to have gone at mid afternoon. Also did spot a spyder too which parked up with us and was getting positive comments from the Mini crowd.

I spoke to the white libra owner, he had come down from Aberdeen. Found out the fuel pump wasn't working on the Toyota engine that was in it so was not happy. He went to Stoneleigh on Monday. I parked my White K3 opposite the Coupes. Good turnout.

All in all it was a great day out for those who attended.
I made a count up of 13 cars, so not bad at all 8)

I think most of us were either chatting or out on track, so I don't think many pictures were taken

But I think mini magazine has a report on the event in the July issue.

I'll have a look when I get a chance.

Here are some of the pictures from Jeroen Boojji's Excellent maximum
Mini site......

The tatty white shell on the trailer. It's definitely an early one mk1 or mk2 so probably a '66
