Had a great day at Silverstone yesterday great to meet members from GTMOC also, just wish I could have stayed for the Cobras and TVRs and the group C cars racing but after two weeks of nights and a half 4 start I was feeling rather 'frazzed'. Who wants to watch celebrities who can't drive!! Driving Austin A40 round Silverstone twice in the afternoon when there are racing drivers driving old fire breathing race cars to put them on starting at 5.30pm till 9.00 o'clock at night let the celebs race at that time or even better 3.00am lol. No good for a day tripper who lives far a field, rant over lol. By the way Bob did it rain? Jamie |

we had a fantastic day on Friday at Silverstone, it was great to see so many members and experience the track, I have some photos of use out on the track I don't know the best place to put them . so will try here photos-of-silverstone-classic-2017-t3840.html |

Good event. The odd shower on Saturday did make some of the racing interesting as it was damp at Luffield and not anywhere else on one race. Good to have a nose around. Jamies V6 Libra did look fairly smart. I spotted some people trying to peer into the Coupe engine cover while I was around the car in the afternoon, so I walked over and popped the lid to a chorus of "Bloody hell!"  Neil |
