I’ve booked a club area and received the site plan yesterday, thanks to HS2 Grosvenor have had to change the layout of the club stands. We are still in the Grand ring , but on stand E which is the second stand on the right as you enter the ring.

Trying to decide which day to come up. Which day is the AGM this year?
As ever I'll have to decide whether to park on the Kitnet stand or GTMOC but given how small the pitches are this year it might just be whichever has room!

Most probably on the Saturday. Lots to sort out once Silverstone is out of the way.

The National Kit Car Motor Show, Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, CV8 2LZ 28th/29th August 2021

Stoneleigh, is the biggest (and this years’ only) kit car show on the calendar, it’s the one NOT to miss.

We will have the club gazebo where the club AGM will be held at 1pm on the Saturday. Hopefully we’ll have a barbecue Saturday late afternoon/ evening. Some food (i.e. burgers and sausages etc) will be provided by the club for members and guests. If you want more than tea or coffee you will need to bring your own drinks. You're welcome to bring your own food to be cooked on the barbecue, if you have any special requirements.

The club area is still in the Grand ring (as in 2019) but is now the second plot (Grand Ring E), on the right as you enter. Whilst non-club members, with a GTM, are welcome to park on the club area and join in, the AGM is open to paid up members only. I will also be bringing the Regalia for you to buy!

Bob.

Who is going then?

If anyone is coming from the South West there is a bit of a convoy happening on Saturday morning. There are a few of the Kitnet guys coming from Melksham, some from Swindon and a few others from Bristol then meeting at Cirencester services on the A419 at 09:00. The Bristol guys are meeting at Old Sodbury 08:15 for the leg to Cirencester then we'll go together up the Fosse Way. Anyone who feels like tagging along is very welcome.

A great turn out for the GTM Club considering the circumstances and compared to many other clubs.

We both had a really nice time on the club stand.

Thanks to Bob and Marion and all the other people involved in the organisation this weekend.
