| Post subject: | Libra LED front indicator/marker lights |
Anyone seen the WIPAC 73mm LED light units, direct replacement for the small domed front lights on the old Land Rover and same as used on the front of the Libra? Clear white markers and amber or clear lens indicators are available. A bit expensive compared to the regular bulb type but cheaper than the other replacement LR LED units i've seen. SAS |

Bought a set of the sidelight version, here it is fitted on the left. hi I got mine from here, http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/m.html?_from= ... ato&_rdc=1 I got front side and indicators and replaced the rear "hamburger" units with led ones too, think I paid £110 for 2x clear lens indicators 2 sides and 2 led hamburger, inc led flasher relay, (needed so they flash at correct speed,) they only sell from shop in Bradford or mail order via ebay details, they didn't have there own website at time, very inpressed much improved looks and the sides look like daytime running lights during day , much brighter great to deal with and very helpful Mitch |

Here ya go. Attachment: Wipac LEd ind (3).JPG [ 179.83 KiB | Viewed 6918 times ] I currently have these "eBay item number:140468501118" as spots, you can take the light unit out of the housing and they then fit in the plastic ring holder. They give an ok beam and were cheap, however the angel eye effect is a bit pants so I disconnected mine, also the reflector bowls are plated steel and rust prone. I will replace em before to long probably with the same units I have in the headlights which are these eBay item number:171260266823 and just use em as spots. They have plastic reflector bowls so no rust problem. |
