Post subject:  Libra MEMS 3 Loom - What do the fuses and relays control?
Hi all,

The epic rebuild continues but now starting to put stuff back on the car which is a welcome change from removing and refurbishing.

I'm fitting up the rear bulkhead whilst the engine frame is away being blasted / powder coated and i've re-fitted the Mems 3 loom - just wondering if anyone can tell me what the various fuses and relays control?

Picture attached to show what I've got - appreciate any replies in advance. Also attached a picture of the bulkhead showing the z cars rear beam and refurbished tank in position.

That looks like someone has changed the usual MEMS relay to separate relays and fuses.

I think this was a GTM supplied loom though for the later Mems 3 engines; Mike Ross kindly sent me a picture of his as supplied and it matches this one? I think one of the relays is for the fuel pump but no idea on the rest??

MEMS3 has a separate relay module with Main Relay, Fuel Pump Relay & Starter Relay. I think the spare socket is for cars with A/C.

What are the ratings and what colour wires go to them?

From the top:

15a fuse - Purple + Brown
10a fuse - Green/Pink + White
20a fuse - Brown/Blue - Brown
10a fuse - Brown/White - Brown
15a fuse - Brown/Yellow - Brown


I'll have to get my multimeter out and see where the circuits terminate and compare to the wiring diagrams but wondered if anyone has the easy option first :lol:
