Great investigative work there Mark, shame it came to nought.

wish I could find the answer
Simpact designed them for RDM
Alan Gow made them for RDM
GTM RDM sold them
GTM Westfield sold them
so I think at least one of the above should be able to find out but I do not think they are willing to put time and effort into finding out information for us

Hi
I have found Rimmer Bros helpful in the past and they list 75RWD here
http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/ItemList--R ... on--m-3082. They have told me that a lot of their Rover stuff comes from X part so that could be another avenue for you all.

I've always suspected that they are off the 75 V8/MGZT260 rear hubs, part 3 seen here: http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-GRID004213

However Rimmers can't supply them - i've tried - and i've yet to find anyone else who will. Heck, i'd buy one even if only to confirm they aren't the correct part!

South lakes mini centre has rgx000651 bush on their web site so I rang them but they do not have any and they cannot find any stock in the country. I also found some on I Russian web site I translated with google selling at 1,370 rubells but do not know if they have any so it looking more likely they are no longer available so only option is do as you have done to make the closest ones fit. Did you fit the 4 you got off ebay and you have did it cure the noise ?

As RDM redesigned the rear suspension we need to look at how many cars they and Westfield produced :?: Maybe 20 :?: Plus three cars, that I know of, have fitted the new suspension.
So 20-25. :?:

Bob.

Whilst looking through the GTM parts bins prior to the Westfield Open Day we came across one of these bushes, it was in a MG Rover box and we think the part number is RHF 100190 :?:

As mentioned earlier in this thread i've taken one of these off a scrap 75 and the body diameter is too big @45mm (needs to be 40mm). As to why they have one, maybe they bought it in hopes it was the correct one?

I think I may have found where the bush is from. While I was look at a steering rack on Mike Satur web site I noticed some bushes like the ones we have been looking for there are 6 of these fitted on later mgf [mgtf] with coil spring suspension but gave no size so rang him and he said he would update his web site but he didn't get round to it so next time I was off work and was visiting someone near him I went so see him so I could measure one myself but when I got there I found that he had moved so I rang him again to check measurements seemed to be good chance they where correct size so I ordered 2 enough to do one arm as I wouldn't remove arm to only replace one. Parts have now been delivered but because the original ones are no longer available which may be the same as the rwd rover 75 the ones supplied come with 2 adapter bushes like sidewinder made the make the merc ones fit these maybe the same ones with the bushes to make them fit already made .the mgf parts were not available to order separate you could only get them with the shock absorber or rear suspension arm but maybe rdm had a contact to get them further up supply chain .I now have got 2 delivered and dimensions are correct 40mm od 12mm bore 57mm wide
