Hi inkafone. Thankyou for the Spyder info, and Welcome to the forum!

Could you please advise colour and your location?

It would also be great to see some pictures of the B20 VTEC update you have planned, I hope you keep us updated on the install..

Will you be at one if the Kit Car shows next year?

Regards Dave

The car is lightish blue and am in Leicester. I was building up a B20 then one came up on EBay that was fully built with ARP studs, eagle VTEC kit, rebuilt head,B18 cams, new pumps etc plus it had the B20Z block, mine was a B20B - should be good for 200BHP+. Am using an Emerald ECU with an LC-1. The gearbox is a S9b and I've got a .714 gear cluster to replace 5th. It's almost ready to go in..............not sure it will be ready for Stoneleigh though. I've also got plans to LPG it,got the full kit that was in a VVC metro that reportedly did the equivalent of 90MPG. If it works then I'll replace the petrol tank with an LPG cylinder & small petrol tank plus a large surge tank in the back so should increase the range. The Spyder is currently SORN'd.

That is sounding very good combination of Honda bits, I like the idea of biasing it to LPG running, was one of my thoughts a few years ago.

Will just need to check the LPG kit can handle the extra hp of the new engine as the B20 will be more powerful than the VVC

Hi Mark,

Thanks for the info. I have updated the list, can you confirm what engine you have fitted?

I guess if you have 000 and the last Spyder was 039, then by my maths that's 40 possible kits produced, one more than I thought.

I assume 000 was a factory build? Have you had it from new or recent purchase as I note you only recently joined the fourm?

Hope to meet up at one of the shows this year, I will be at Stoneleigh, Newark and Silverstone classic, and possibly others if work permits.

Regards

Dave.

Hi Dave,

There are two Duch Spyders:
027 / On road / 97-ZG-NG / Red / 1,8 VVC (160 bHP) / The Netherlands
??? / On road / 52-GBN-9 / Red / 1,8 VVC / The Netherlands
I think there also are one orange and a yellow LHD Spyder in the Netherlands, but do not know more about these.
Still dreaming of getting one on Norwegian plates - but still only a faaaaar away dream. :(

Hi Dave,
Sorry just assumed as it was called Spyder 9 it was Number 9??
I'd leave as is, looks like Cameron doesn't own it anymore.
