Coolant pipes
HAs anyone damaged their coolant pipes underneath the car. Mine seem to hang pretty low and on a recent trip abroad caught them on the crown of a nasty backroad and made a hole. Anyone protected theirs in any way. I was thinking of rigging a shield up but directly under the fuel tank so no drilling or welding there. Otherwise thinking of putting some aluminium flexi pipe over the existing rubber and using it as a skid plate /sacraficial layer. Any bright ideas? Sorry for all the questions, I knew my way round my Ford powered Seven like nobodys business but this one all a bit new and whilst experimentation is good proven solutions are even better!!
