I'm still in for a set.

Did the similar 'stock' size get lost too?

By the sounds of it they were always the same part.

When I stripped down my front suspension there didn't seem to be any wear at all on the wishbone bushes (11 years, 15,000 miles). They were still tight and firm so I re-used them. I'm hoping they won't need replacing for a while so I'll skip on this order.

An idea of price might encourage me (or otherwise!) to join in - neither of my cars is in desperate need, but at a reasonable price it might be worth replacing in the fixer-upper.

Price wise they are a little under £6 each so around £96.

I'll certainly have a set, I've been meaning to look at replacing mine for a couple of years now. Mine are red and I have always known that they are hard but have put up with them as they are perfect on smooth tarmac but with the state of the roads now it's becoming hard to put up with the stiffness of the front suspension, maybe they get harder with age they're 16 years old now.
Are you talking about ordering blue [as Sidewinder] or going softer, can we mix grade's? I might try a soft and medium set.

Aside, Superflex certainly did supply the bushes originally. He lived 6 doors from me back in 1999 and as I was being held up in my build I collected the first batch of bushes from him [via Australia] and delivered them to Sutton Bonington that day whilst collecting more parts for my kit.

I was thinking shore 90. Mainly as it's a small bush a softer one might give too much movement.

Superflex seem to think 90 is the standard for the Libra.

Guide here.

I would imagine a mix of hardness would be ok if we can get to the minimum order.

Can we get a list of interest?

I propose we list here then when we get to the minimum order we can get individually order them from superflex.

I will contact Christine at Superflex and make sure she is happy to do that. I can't see any reason why not.

Roger. 1 set (16) Shore 90
Bob S. 1 set (16) Shore 90

Post subject:  Re: Front suspension bushes

I contacted Superflex on Monday with a few more questions and received a sample bush and tube yesterday. I put my car on the lift to compare and my bushes are black/dark blue :?: I could have sworn that they were red when I fitted them 16 years ago :!:

Anyway all looks good with sizes and have received a confirmed price yesterday [for members] of £15.58 + VAT each bush comprising of two top hat bushes and one tube multiply this by eight = £149.60 + postage per car. Any more takers?

I received another email today regarding the hardness of the bushes, apparently they have only ever supplied 'shore95' and will need to consult with the engineers before agreeing a hardness change to 'shore 90', which might incur more charges? So the above price is for 'shore 95'.
I'm beginning to wonder if it's worth changing them like for like.

Thanks for that Mark although the sample tube they sent me is 32mm length 13.5mm OD, 10mm ID :?: But they quote the size you have.

Can we buy just the poly bushes cheaper without the tubes? Given they are stainless(pretty sure) steel there's no need to replace them. Certainly last time I replaced my worn out GTM bushes with my home-made bushes the metal tubes looked almost new.

I wouldn't think there's much difference between shore90 & 95.
