Still waiting for my Z cars kit :( their engineer is away and they had some issues manufacturing the beam. They were honest and upfront but it's still frustrating. Part of me is just thinking would I rather just have my money back!

I drove the car to oulton park over the weekend with the Mrs and it drove nice enough without incident although I didn't push the car hard. What is a shame is that whilst the 4.78 diff makes it accelerate hard, it's buzzing at a fair rate on the motorway. But the VTEC engine really shines in VTEC, it loves to rev and that's what it's made to do, it's not got an awful lot of low down grunt... so it responds well to the gearing. Really I think I'd be happier if the thing was supercharged and had a 4.4 diff... oh and the Z cars kit...but where does it all end?!?! Have mixed feelings about the car at the moment.

Supercharge it and get a longer 5th gear for cruising.
Like I said if your in my area of South Wales your welcome for a go of mine when I put it back on the road to convince you. The rotrex on mine is mad :twisted:

A bit, I believe the arms are made but there were some issues with movement when welding the brackets to the beams which effected the geometry. David rang me and said it could be adjusted out on the arms but he wasn't prepared to send it out like that, so they are being re made. They are using the jigs that the previous Z cars owners used so this problem may have occurred on previous kits, but that's just speculation. They do have a plan on how to manufacture it with more accuracy so just waiting to hear how it goes when their engineer is back from holiday.
